Back With A Vengenance! Charlies' Angels In Malacca

By Shannon:

Oh ho, after being MIA for nearly a month, I'm back with a Vengenance! First Order of the Day? Malacca!

Daddy and Mommy decided to take the plunge and DRIVE us 2 and a half hours up to Malacca, Afamosa Resort together with Uncle Teck Lee, Aunty Lulu, Terisse, Uncle Bob, Aunty Valerie and Rachel! We headed up on Friday, 28th April, and came back on Sunday, 30th April, leaving 1st May for Daddy and Mommy to recuperate, and unpack all my bags.... I tell you, I could see the beads of sweat and stress on Daddy's forehead trying to complete the drive! BUT! We're still here and alive lah, so suffice to say, we made it!
The accomodation.... eeehhhhh, having to sleep in a bed with 50 other flies is NOT my idea of a holiday, Mommy! Thank goodness the Uncles and Aunty banged some tables, and got the hotel staff to put us in a much nicer villa.... Luckily they did something before US the Three Charlie's Angels decided to thrash the place!

The New Face of Charlie's Angels! Coming to a Theatre Near You!

Having two other katek people running around the Villa really puts things into perspective, at least I know there exists other playmates which are Shannon size!

We ventured into tampin for dinner on the first night, and visited the local's choice resturant, 'Yuan Chu', is that translated to 'Round Ball?" Anyway, food was plesantly reasonable and good.

On the second day we headed to the Afamosa Animal world, and at night we took a jaunt to Jongers Walk in search for the perfect chendol and dimsum.

I stole some delicous dimsum from Mommy, and we had authentic Baba food at the Baba resturant...

Third Day, a cool dip into the villa pool with Rachel and Terisse, and then it's headed back to Singapore! Mommy's raring to go again, but I think I can hear Daddy hoping not to go through the long drive again!
