Three Little Ducks That I Once Knew, Fat One, Skinny One, Just Like You

I love water till this day, and endured many jokes by Marko about me being a Water Baby... in fact when I was pregnant with Shannon, I would still go swimming and relax by the pool... and the funny part was feeling Shannon kick me in her little water world, while I soaked in the calm still waters of the pool....

Shannon's growing up to be one too, A Water Baby in the making! We headed to Suntec to try a trial lesson of Aquaducks, the swimming outfit for babies learning to swim...OK, I'm sure your eyebrows are raised to the ceiling now, swimming for BABIES? Yup, they just do about anything nowadays!

Well, the weather was quite gloomy, and Coach Annie cautioned us that the water was brrrr.... cold... so it was really up to us whether to continue the lesson or not. I dipped Shannon's feet into the pool to give her a feel, and from that point on, there was no turning back! She started to wade into the pool with her clothes on! Time to change!

You could see she had tons of fun, she was grinning all the way through the lesson, so much so that Coach Annie used her over and over again like a lifesize doll to demo the activities....! Check out the pics...

This is the way we wash our face, wash our face, wash our face!

Quick! Catch the fish before it swims away!

Three little ducks that I once knew

This reminds me of a song Mal sings to Shannon all the time... haha...

Three little ducks that I once knew, fat one, skinny one, just like you!
But the one little duck with the feather on her back,
she ruled the others with a quack quack quack!
Down by the river they would go,
Wither Waddle wither Waddle through and fro,
but the one little duck with the feather on her duck,
she ruled the others with a quack quack quack!

Well, our one little duck with the feather on her back is well on her way!

Good Or Bad, I Still Can't Figure It Out Yet!

this past one and a half years have flown by in a blur, I suddenly realise that our baby girl is no longer, well, a baby girl....this hit me one day watching her hanging on the bars of the playground like a naughty monkey that she is now.... she has taken her first steps into toddlerhood, and Mal and I have no baby left to baby (good or bad, I still can't figure that one out yet!)

Here's some nice shots of our baby who's no longer a baby..... that was a heck of a eighteen months to go through, though I woldn't miss it for the world!
